CUMBRE ROUTE.

OUR VERY FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP:

A PROPOSAL FOR CHANGE

We are proud to launch this championship as an invitation to all of you, the SimRacers who think there is so much wasted talent because of the unreachable financial barriers required to develop a professional career in Motorsport.

INTRO

Purpose, structure, method of operation, and calendar.

If the championship reaches its registration limit, we will take it as a clear sign of your desire to see this project grow. As a result, the prize for the top three finishers in our next event will be a fully funded transition to real-life international competition, with zero costs for the drivers. Next, the structure and operation of the championship:

After completing your registration, you will receive a confirmation email. We will then carry out a manual verification process and send you a second email with aninvitation tojoin the official Discord server within the next few days. Once you join, you will receive the Verified Driver” role. Through the #calendar_and_sessions channel, we will provide detailed instructions on how to properly participate in each of your scheduled sessions.

With the aim of matching your availability with the competition schedule, we will implement a grouping procedure divided by continental time zones (groups are only made for organisational purposes, drivers will score their points individually):

  • Division 1: Europe & Africa - United Kingdom (UK) as reference time.
  • Division 2: Asia & Oceania - United Arab Emirates (UAE) as reference time.
  • Division 3: Americas (north, centre, south) - Washington D.C. as reference time.

  • Each division’s reference time and the groups involved will be specified for every session with two days in advance at #calendar_and_sessions, as previously indicated. Your only responsibility will be to check whether your group is scheduled to participate and organise your availability accordingly. -

The first round will begin with a qualifying phase made up of 30-minute sessions, with results based on lap times, as a time-attack only event. This phase will last one full month, from March 20 until April 20. From Monday to Friday, we will run one daily session at 20:00 reference time. On Saturday, we will run four sessions at 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, and 20:00 reference time as well. Sunday will be a rest day. The 60% of the participants with the most points will gain access to the following 4 rounds.

The next 4 rounds will have a "Race Weekend" format , which consists of the following composition:

  • Friday: the free practice session will be open for 12 hours, drivers must complete at least one valid lap (8:00 - 22:00 ref. time).
  • Saturday: 10 minutes qualifying session (at 9:00 ref. time) & first 30 minutes race (at 20:00 ref. time).
  • Sunday: second 30 minutes race (at 9:00 ref. time) & third 30 minutes race (at 18:00 ref. time).

After these five rounds, the 60 best drivers will be selected to compete in the Grand Final, and half of these finalists will receive a cash prize.

Here is our Official Calendar, you can already check the date for each round!

Extra note:- a championship of this magnitude requires extensive and detailed preparation. The complexity of every aspect we needed to develop is extremely high, and we have taken great care to ensure everything is ready and as close to perfection as possible. As a result, this championship will deliver a very high standard of quality in terms of organisation, organiser-participant communication, sporting stewards, entertainment, visibility, and prize pool... -

IS OUR CHAMPIONSHIP MADE FOR YOU?

Check your doubts or requirements to find out if the Championship meets your standards.

Let’s begin by taking a look around.

Currently, there are many regional championships being organised by small clubs or entities, where you can learn and increase your level more and faster than testing alone or simply competing in open sessions like in Low Fuel Motorsport or iRacing. What is the next step of Championship you can find if you are looking for a more competitive atmosphere with great prizes to fight for?

Well, the only medium step (already announced for 2026) between these small championships and the elite ones, which we will see later, is the Sim Formula Europe 2026, with a €10,000 prize pool. However, before considering competing, you must know that there are only 16 places available, access for this season closes on December 13th, 2025. To qualify, you must have at least one platform between iRacing, ACC, or LMU, and if you qualify, you must be able to attend in Maastricht in the Netherlands as the competition will take place in person.

And if we look even further, what we find is a list of really nice championships where getting registered is very difficult due to the low registration limits, ranking selection, license or rating requirements... leaving an average success rate of around 1 registered SimRacer out of 500 (the probability is below 1% in some cases).

Examples:

  • Porsche TAG Heuer Supercup - on iRacing (data from 2025)

  • - Pay iRacing subscription and content - around €100 annually and from €10 to €15 for cars and tracks.
  • - License A required - top license in the game needed.
  • - Having less than 3,500 iRating (as a level parameter) makes the probability almost impossible to enter.
  • - On average, 1 out of 200 enters - after fulfilling the previous requirements, the probability is around 0.5%.
  • - $200,000 for the top 20 finishers out of 30 - the winner takes $50,000 (probability of winning any prize <0.1%).

  • IMSA Esport Global Championship - on iRacing (data from 2025)
  • - Similar principal requirements to Porsche Supercup.
  • - Better probability to enter - around 5%, approximately a thousand teams trying to qualify.
  • - $25,000 divided among the top 10 of GTD and GTP - Class winners take $2,500 for each driver as it is an endurance team of 2 drivers.

  • Ferrari HP Esport Series - on ACC, AC, or iRacing (Not clear information in their "2025 Prize Competition Regulation")
  • - Very selective process through different tests - massive participation for very limited places.
  • - We had to appeal to the AI for finding more information - it estimates a probability of 0.05% to 0.5% to gain entry.

  • SRO GT World Challenge - on ACC (data from 2025)
  • - Assetto Competizione has a price of $50 and the content needed to participate may exceed another $50.
  • - Very limited access - only 1 out of 500 top split drivers get to enter, so the probability after becoming top split is around 0.8%.
  • - Big prize - €150,000, but only for the winner, no other drivers get paid.
CONCLUSION

Apart from the access barriers, the championships we have summarised require a high average cost which is above €100. So, we have clear reasons to say our Cumbre GT World Championship is the best option you can choose to compete in 2026. The accessibility is completely open, you don’t have to obtain any licence, show up with a minimum skill rating, or pay any subscription or extra content.

If you want to participate in our championship you will only need to invest around €45; Assetto Corsa, the selected platform, costs €10 (Instant gaming price:https://goo.su/LYulOxo), you can download the Content Manager for free to have a smoother playing experience, and the registration which costs €34.99. We will provide you with all the content needed for free (cars & tracks) - the registration is a one-off payment, not a subscription - while in other championships you have a probability of less than 1% just to enter, in ours you have a 6.6% chance just to win a prize! Assuming that we reach the expected 500 participants, but if we have fewer, you will have even more chance.

EARN YOUR OWN SEAT

Like it should be: with talent and hard work, not with millionaire budgets

Led by Santi Concepción Jr., the Cumbre SimRacing team has an initiative focused on improving the international motorsport landscape. Our main goal is to help manage the transition from SimRacing to real-life competition and provide guidance throughout the journey that follows. We will carry out exhaustive selections among our championship participants.

Establishing a strong international presence for SimRacers without depending on a pre-existing budget is key to achieving this objective, but it depends more on you than on us. Support and believe in the project, and we will bring the work and expertise.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

4.4: Stewarding Protocol (Official Regulations):

Participants may report incidents by email (the corresponding email address will be shared via the official championship channel on Discord).

Requirements for Valid Reports:

• Send within 1 hour of session end.

• Include onboard footage from all involved drivers and a TV-style replay of the incident.

• Include the race minute of the incident, usernames of the involved drivers, car numbers, and server name in the subject.

• Explain the incident from the reporter’s point of view.

We have an experienced team behind the incident investigations to make professional decisions, providing you with a fair and swift ruling.

Not participating due to a lack of developed technique or skills is a mistake. The opposite is true: You need to participate to accelerate your learning process. Gaining the experience of participating helps you reach that level; it multiplies your growth speed when you experience an event like this compared to private test sessions or other low-split races. You have the opportunity, go and push your limits more often and learn how to exceed them.

The normal way to level up is to test alone and compete in low splits; the unusual thing is to smartly face more skilled drivers and learn as much as possible.

Do the extraordinary thing, achieve extraordinary results.

We selected Assetto Corsa because of the convenience for all participants; the affordable price of the game and the mod support provide tremendous possibilities and accessibility.

We highly recommend the use of Content Manager for a more comfortable and smooth experience.
